Success Ville: How We See Rejection

There he was, flowers in his hands, a glow in his heart, warmth he couldn’t explain, a determination to create something from the little his hands could find for the last couple of years, and a hope that fate would smile on him just this once. He wondered how he would voice his thoughts, what words he would say that could sum up the last two years, how he would speak the words, and how he could string them to predict the next fifty years. It was too late to think! He had watched that scenario in his mind’s eye, and had practiced like the child he knew he could sometimes be. This was it. He had it all planned out… he would be on one knee while she stood elegant and beautiful as always, he would carry with him the ring that best tries to paint her beauty and wrap it with all the love and care his heart had to offer. The moon would be somewhere above her head playing the strings of his heart in a romantic tune. He figured she didn’t have to do anything. Just to ...

MATH 112… THE TASK MASTER!!!

Weird title right? If you are familiar with this blog, then you might have seen your fair share of weird titles… but if you’re new, then welcome to a blog dedicated to stirring up change in the hearts of as many people that are willing to give it a chance; for as many people that are tired of the status quo. Trust me, you’re gonna be seeing a few more weird titles in the future. I once heard a statement that kept me thinking for months. “People can only change by fifteen percent no matter how much they try”. I heard that statement from a movie, which is why I didn’t want to believe it at first, but after giving it much thought, I began to see the logic in it. Being an avid supporter of Real Madrid and of Cristiano Ronaldo, I began to imagine giving that part of my life up for someone I cared about. I imagined that I could, but only for as long as it was mutual. As far as I was concerned, I would run back to the flat screen the second I beg...

DIRTINESS THAT STAINS THE SOAP

Is it just me or is this blog filled with highly unusual and weird names. For example, “ oboi… you too worry ”, “ What went wrong ?” “ Somewhere out there… is someone ”, and now “Dirtiness that stains the soap”. Whoever thought a cleaning agent could be stained? I too never gave it much thought until a true need arose, and a burden weighed heavy on my thoughts, and my ears rang full of the cries around me.             It was a little fun being in the rain (well for me, and not my gadgets), and I could just walk in the rain and sing while I was at it. Then the unthinkable happened; an oncoming vehicle splashed mud on me. Of course he sped away not really minding what he did, after all, walking in the rain wasn’t so smart on my part. He sure gave me a little work to do. And as I washed and scrubbed away my favorite jean trouser, my soap picked up the stains. It was annoying to the ...

WHEN YOU MAKE MISTAKES

What do you do when you couldn’t have been more wrong about something, and now you’ve realized the error in your ways? I have been there a couple of times (not that I am proud of it), but so has every other human being who is willing to accept the fact that he/she is not perfect. I mean, this particular scenario I have in my mind was very touching, and completely exciting for me. It took me a couple of months before I realized that I was missing the whole point. But I don’t want to just talk about how I got the point wrong, I want to talk about my reaction after I had looked up and realized that I was almost lost, and was on the wrong track.       So there I was, on my computer, trying to make a difference in my world. But in there was a motive. I didn’t just want to write articles that could trigger positive change in people; I wanted to cross a number off my to-do list. I desperately wanted to get 1000 hits on my blog. For...

SOMEWHERE OUT THERE... IS SOMEONE

Permanently locked in every human is the inate ability to see beyond the ordinary... to see far above what the eye permits us to see in the physical. That is the idea that birth this article; the idea that I can see something that refuses to stay in the physical, suppressed by emotions and buried deep within tough situations and circumstances. The idea that there is something happening to someone, somewhere out there.      Being human goes far beyond the ability to perform every function of a living thing (otherwise, we might as well hang out with the goats). It's the traits, emotions and thinking ability that separates us from the pack of living things and sets us aside as humans. It is that human side that this blog appeals to. It calls on that side to provoke itself to positive change, build on good qualities already acquired, and learn from scratch that which makes us human, and makes life worth living.    ...
